Miles of Crochet Amigurumi

Hi everyone! I will be on vacation from July 3-16, so anyone trying to message me about anything in my Etsy shop will not hear back from me until I return. Thanks!

People never guess crochet first.

Too true

I just loved that the spouse corrected it. (And I loved it back when I saw it for the first time!)

Gave him a Native American vibe. I would have liked to have used different colors for his skin and coat, but I had an idea ready and didn’t want to go to the store. ;) I’m so proud of that saddle bag.

Crochet Gif Tutorials: Crocodile Stitch

A tutorial in 7 parts:
Part 1 - First Foundation Row
Part 2 - Row 1, First Scale
Part 3 - Row 1, Middle Scales
Part 4 - Row 1, Last Scale
Part 5 - Second Foundation Row
Part 6 - Row 2
Part 7 - Third Foundation Row

This tutorial shows my technique for making the crocodile stitch. I’ve looked at various other tutorials in the past and they all seem to have slightly different methods, but this is what I came up with as the way that works for me. I hope that it will help you too - but as always, play around and see what you like best!

So far, this tutorial only covers making the crocodile stitch in rows - so for things like scarves or anything rectangular. At some point in the future I hope to cover the adaptions you need to make to work this in the round.

Happy hooking! XX

This is handy.

New and improved centaur!

I love centaurs, and my original centaur design just wasn’t cutting it for me anymore. My biggest problem was the legs, they just didn’t have the proper shape. Well, I’m quite happy with these legs, and they were much easier to make than my old design! The body also curves, like a horse’s should, and his arms have thumbs. :D

You can buy the pattern here!

Kurapika and Gon from the Hunter x Hunter anime. A custom order.

Hand-crocheted; they have wired arms and plastic canvas supporting their feet and neck.

I’ve never watched this show, I always feel nervous making a character I have never seen in action. I hope I did them justice!
